one week old!!

Yesterday marked henry's first week of life and boy, was it exciting. He woke up, ate, did a few twosies, slept, ate some more, went down to the terrace with mommy and daddy so they could grill some hot dogs -- for those who are unaware, hot dogs are on the DO NOT EAT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES list for pregnant women. Oddly enough, Becky discovered during her pregnancy that she REALLY likes hot dogs. Go figure. So, one of her first post-partum requests was a grilled hot dog. And yet, we digress. back to henry and his first week of life. where were we? oh yes, he slept, ate, filled his diaper, repeat.

It was quite a week, we're getting use to each other and other than being tired, really enjoying our time together. Every day henry is more and more awake and gives us a new surprise as he does something that makes us smile and laugh.
