a week early on the calendar but you wouldn't know it by looking at him. The "bean" was born at 12:30pm on 8/7/08 weighing in at 9 lbs 1.3 oz. and 22 inches long. We named him Henry Finnegan Nardi (more on that later). Little Henry has a shuck of red hair just like his mother.
the whole process from start to finish went by so quickly, 9.5 hours, we were totally shocked. We kept thinking it couldn't be happening so quickly and so soon but then, here he was, big blue eyes and all.
grandma and grandpa Elovsky made it to the hospital just in time. grandma and grandpa Shaeffer got there just a few hours later to meet Henry along with aunt Michelle.
Becky did an amazing job and Henry did his part by not making things too difficult for mommy. We're home now, trying to adjust and get to know each other.
